Air Con Re-Gas R134A

You air-con keeps the interior of your vehicle cool during hot summer months providing a cool and comfortable driving experience.

If your vehicle was manufactured before 2014 then you will require the old R134a refrigerant gas.

Air conditioning requires regular maintenance to ensure that it performs as expected.  It is recommended that you vehicles air conditioning should be re-gassed at least every two years.

How do I know which air con gas I need for my vehicle?

If your vehicle was manufacturered before 2014 it will require the older refrigerant gas called R134A.  However, if your vehicle was manufactured between the years of 2014 and 2016 then it could require either of the two gases. How often shall I re-gas my air-con?

Manufacturers recommend that your vehicle’s air conditioning should be recharged with gas and lubricant every 2 years to keep it running effectively and efficiently. This service isn’t usually part of your annual vehicle service so if your vehicle is over 2 years old then a recharge is probably due.
